Lennon has always been a big fan of machines. He is just fascinated by them. This weekend when we found out we got the awesome discount at Barnes and Noble we told the kids they could each have one "fun" thing. Lennon chose this machine building kit. It was recommended for 8 and up, but with a little help, it is right up his alley. He has built a crane, a tranktor, a fan and some kind of magic 8 ball type thingy. Below is a picture of him working on the first machine with Shelby. He was so excited when we told him he could get this kit he was practically screaming about it in the store.
I had these awesome tights and they got a huge run in them. So...instead of letting them go into the trash, I decided to make Mia some new fairy wings with them. I still need to attach some kind of straps onto them and add some finishing touches, but she's already wearing them by strapping on some soft headbands she had.

What fun times!! Lennon is the smartest little dude I have ever encountered:) And Mia, who is also brilliant looks great with those wings. You are so creative sissy!
